The Funkateers are a dance group from Inkster, MI. Inkster is near Detroit and the home of The Marvelettes a world-renowned female vocal group on Motown Records. I recently caught up with them at the Inkster High all classes reunion in July of 2018.They had not performed together in more than 30 years as well. T was the first time I had seen them in more than 30 years. The oldest member of the group is 60 years old.
