Improvisation is an acting method where actors improvise the scene, dialogue, and story live, based on a prompt. There are several improv schools in the USA: UCB (The Game), The Groundlings (The Characters), and Second City. In Belgium, there's the FBIA - Belgian Federation of Amateur Improvisation. In France, the Improvisation League. SNL, Saturday Night Live, is a very popular show in the USA; most of the actors are improvisers. Improvisation tips: 1. Start the scene by looking your partner in the eyes. 2. Give your character a strong emotion. 3. Choose two opinions about the improvisation topic that answer a "yes, but" question. 4. Start the improvisation directly from the topic, being as specific as possible. Kisses!
