How to plant Astilbe from bare root for Stunning Summer Blooms

Today I am planting some bare root astilbes I purchased. Getting perennials as bare roots is much more cost effective than potted plants and are so easy to plant in the garden. Astilbes come in several colors and are great in a partially shaded area with moist soil. Astilbes are hardy from zones 3 through 8. Astilbes make great cottage garden flowers, deer resistant, easy to propagate by division, and a great beginner plant.
