1963 Mountain Amusement Park Mount Tom Holyoke MA Carousel Ferris Wheel Roller Coaster Tilt-O-Whirl

I wonderful 8mm home movie of the Moutain Park Amusement Park on Mount Tom above the Pioneer Valley in Holyoke, MA. Excellent views of many rides can be seen including the Turtles, the Ferris Wheel, the small roller coaster, the Tilt-O-Whirl, the Carousel (now the Holyoke Merry-Go-Round in Holyoke Heritage State Park), the Fun House and Mirror Maze, the Spinning Buckets, the Jets, and more including a coin-op Donald Duck. The family started with lunch and then everyone was really happy with the ride tickets they were given. A beautiful amusement park that is gone now but not forgotten. The United States had a few big ride manufacturing companies and in this film we may see the work of the Eli Bridge Company of Jacksonville, IL (Ferris Wheel), Sellner Manufacturing of Faribault, MN (Tilt-O-Whirl), Allen Herschell Company of Buffalo, NY (various rides), and perhaps even Chance Manufacturing Company of Wichita, KS.
