READING VLOG || Listening, learning, making changes 🖤

Hello dear friends, I hope that this video feels like a giant hug. I hope that during these 15 minutes (and beyond), you feel loved and uplifted. I hope that you always always always feel welcomed and accepted here. I think the world of you 🌎 I understand that no matter how much I read, I will never understand. My privilege and life experience has rendered me entirely ignorant to the struggles black people face every single day. But I'm aware now. I'm listening. I hear you. I am putting in the work to combat my subconscious biases and be a better ally. I stand with you. I'd like to support black-owned and run businesses with the money I made on YouTube in May. Please comment below and share any businesses/boutiques/shops you, family, or a friend own or just one you love! Also, thank you SO MUCH to everyone who has sent me mail to my PO Box. I've seriously cried happy tears from your letters. In light of where help is most needed, I've decided to postpone the opening of my Patreon. Thank you, always, for being here ❤️ BIG BIG BIG hugs, Morgan Some books I've read by black authors and have loved: "More Than Enough: Claiming Space for Who You Are (No Matter What They Say)" by Elaine Welteroth "A Good Cry: What We Learn From Tears and Laughter" by Nikki Giovanni "Born a Crime" by Trevor Noah "Becoming" by Michelle Obama "The Bluest Eye" by Tony Morrison Some books by black authors I'm looking forward to reading: "The Vanishing Half" by Brit Bennett   / britrbennett   "Just Mercy: A Story of Justice and Redemption" by Bryan Stevenson "The Fifth Season" by N.K.
