Orientation day at Curtin University Perth, Australia

Welcome to my Australia vlog! Today, I want to share my experience as an international student in Australia, specifically as a Pakistani guy studying in Perth at Curtin University. As an international student in Australia, the first thing you'll attend is the orientation. I was amazed to see almost 2000 international students attending the orientation at Curtin University. It was an excellent opportunity to make friends from different countries, learn about the Australian lifestyle and get familiar with the university campus. After the orientation, I applied for my student card and bus discount card through the online portal Oasis Curtin. It was a straightforward process, and now I can use public transport around Perth at discounted rates. Additionally, I also discovered the Cellopark Au app, which helps me avoid parking fines on campus. Moving on to the academic aspect, Curtin University is an excellent place to study. I've found the professors to be very supportive, and the coursework challenging yet engaging. For those looking to study in Australia, I would highly recommend checking out the Australian SOL list to choose a degree that offers good job prospects and the potential for permanent residency. As for my Pakistani and Indian friends studying in Australia, we've found that there is a vibrant community here. We often gather to cook our favorited foods and celebrate our cultural festivals together. It's a great way to stay connected to our roots while also embracing the Australian lifestyle. Overall, being an international student in Australia has been a fantastic experience. From the beautiful beaches to the friendly locals, I've come to love the Aussie way of life.
