One EBAY Buyer Bought THREE Book Lots — So We Combined the Shipping #packwithus
Our eBay Store: https://ebay.us/RGj1W6 Check out our other social media and product links: https://linktr.ee/shedflips A big book order to pack today — one EBAY buyer in Ohio bought three separate John Dickson Carr and Carter Dickson paperback / hardcover book lots ($40 + $65 + $90 = $195) and we're combining them into one 17x17x13 box, 28 pounds gross, going UPS Ground for $31.65 (the buyer paid $35.91, so a tiny refund is on its way back). We talked through the carrier decision on camera — media mail was about $5 cheaper, but UPS Ground handles big heavy boxes better and we'd be paying for insurance on media mail anyway, so the math wasn't really $5 different. We also pack the rest of the day's orders: a lot of 25 vintage 35mm movie trailer reels, a Lolita "Peace on Earth" dove wine glass, a Stanley nesting cookset going media mail, a Halloween 5 Michael Myers "Bruce" mask that sold for $72, an HBA aerosol that needs the limited-quantity hazmat label, a lot of 8 enamel belt buckles that came off the Shed Flops shelf and got bundled at viewer suggestion, a sharp pair of Converse Allstar XO pattern shoes, an Eagle Moss Parasite figure, and the last lot we needed to pack — a Skylanders Spyro's Adventure starter set with 20 figures, portal, and the game. Side chat along the way about the broken brass clock we're trying to get repaired (the watch shop wouldn't touch it because "it's not a watch"), the Seiko World Time we just relisted as-is, the international-shipping liability conversation (a water-cooler horror story with $50 in surprise customs), and the lemonade-stand kid who gave Candice a pink rubber duck and Lonnie a blue one (intentional, we promise — she remembered). Want to see where today's orders came from? Today's Shed Flips video is the one where we finally gave up on a $100 garage-sale box of spark plugs after three years and lotted up the last 119 of them — link in our profile.
