Muistoja Pohjolasta | Finnish Defence Forces Parade Song

The song was composed in 1915 by Samuli ''Sam'' Sihvo, a fresh newly formed Finnish Jaeger graduate from the famous Lockstedt military camp. Arthur (Artturi) Rope re-purposed the song and slightly modified it to better match the song in order to use it in military parades and marches. The words are originally written by Roine Richard Ryyvänen. This song is very famous in the Finnish Defence forces even to this day and is widely used in ceremonies of many sorts.
