Viajando de Loja a Guayaquil @entreislasyandes

Hello, hello, travelers! Welcome to Between Islands and the Andes. We are Ana and Juancho, a Cuban couple who have lived in Ecuador for over ten years, and we started this channel eager to share our routes, our experiences, and all those things you always want to know before traveling: how much it costs, how to get there, where to sleep, where to eat well and affordably, and which places are truly worth visiting. We're not here to show you perfect, magazine-worthy trips. We want to show you our journeys as we experience them: with beautiful landscapes, long roads, impromptu stops, good times, tiredness, surprises, and also those little details that can help other travelers plan better. This first video is the beginning of a travel series that will take us to Colombia, where we'll be visiting three tourist destinations that we're very excited to explore and share with you. But as every great journey begins with a first leg, today we set off from the city of Loja, in southern Ecuador, heading towards Guayaquil, passing through the beautiful city of Cuenca. In this video, we'll tell you what it's like to travel this route by road, how long it might take, what you can see along the way, where it's a good idea to stop, and what recommendations we think are important for those planning a similar trip. The idea is that you can experience it with us, but also take away useful information to plan your own adventure. Our journey begins in Loja, a peaceful, cultural, and charming city, and continues along the road to Cuenca, one of the most beautiful cities in Ecuador, famous for its history, architecture, food, and that captivating Andean atmosphere. From there, we head towards Guayaquil, where this journey will continue, gradually bringing us closer to our final destination: Colombia. At Entre Islas y Andes, we want each video to be more than just a simple road trip. We want this to be a real guide, told from our own experience, with clear information on routes, prices, accommodations, transportation, places to eat, and tips for traveling without overspending. So join us on this first leg: Loja – Cuenca – Guayaquil. Get ready for open roads, stunning landscapes, anecdotes, and plenty of travel tips. And if you enjoy this type of content, we invite you to subscribe, turn on notifications, and follow along with us on this journey to Colombia.
