When he first returned on RAW, it seemed as though Shawn Michaels was ready to reform DX. However, that all changed on the very first night they were back together, as Triple H chose this moment to betray his friend and reveal that The Game was now the top player in WWE. As the rivalry between these two veterans continued to build, a match was announced for SummerSlam 2002.
