Soroti hospital - Soroti Regional referral hospital in drugs dilemma

Although doctors and the medical workers are committed to work the Hospital lacks drugs, gloves, syringes, plaster, Bandage, gauze, cannulas among others. The patients have to buy drugs from drug shops, Pharmacies and clinics.The most affected wards are Surgical, Paediatric Children’s ward and medical ward. Some patients admitted have to skip treatment due to lack of money for buying drugs while other patients who have improved but have not completed treatment escape back to their respective homes to use herbs.
