New Kiln & Making Fused Glass Test Tiles
It was a wonderful start to 2021 for me when my new Evenheat Studio Pro 17 arrived! In this video I am sharing the arrival, the initial firing, and most importantly, how to create a set of test tiles as these test tiles will provide a visual reference as to how my kiln fires. Whenever you see a tutorial or guide on a project, always take the schedules offered as a starting point. Your kiln may need to be fired hotter, cooler, with more or less time than listed. Creating a set of test tiles will help you understand what adjustments to a schedule you may need based on the effect you get at different temperatures.
