Downhill DH MTB VTT - Métabief CdF 2020 - Day 1 training
Downhill mountain biking (DH) is a type of mountain biking practiced on steep, rugged terrain that often involves jumps, and other obstacles. Downhill bikes are tougher than other mountain bikes and feature front and rear suspension with over 200mm of travel, to absorb shock. In competition, runners have one or two attempts to reach the finish line as quickly as possible, while remaining between the two stripes designating the course. Runners must choose their line by making a compromise between the shortest possible line and the line that can be run at the highest speed. Descents are generally two to five minutes long.
