Neo is Deaf because of Me… As you know our son was born with severe to profound hearing loss. Since he was born we always wondered about the cause of his hearing loss. So we decided to follow the doctors advice and get genetic testing for the whole family because this can give us better knowledge on why our son was born Deaf. Luckily with technology being so advanced and hearing aids not giving him enough for proper speech and language, we were able to get him cochlear implants. And now he is getting all caught up with his spoken language, and yes he still know ASL / Sign language.
