Gooney Bird.

I got a used Gooney Bird wing off a friend and then built a new fuselage using a set of original plans. This was my maiden flight of the model. It's quite a difficult glider to fly with some unusual handling. It requires quite a lot of rudder to get it to turn, but then tightens up all on its own and needs lots of opposite rudder to straighten out. So it becomes easy to overcorrect. It flies best if you leave it alone.
