The 2022 Lexus NX is the latest in what is now a long line of hybrid SUVs from the Japanese manufacturer. However, whereas in the past Lexus has made self-charging hybrids (and indeed it still does, including a version of the NX), this new NX represents its first attempt at a plug-in hybrid. The NX450h+ features two electric motors and an 18kWh battery to give it an electric-only range of up to 47 miles from a charge. Paired with a 2.5-litre petrol engine, total output is 309bhp which means that, in addition to its eco-credentials, this car can get from 0-62mph in just 6.3 seconds.
