Moradores de Osasco, na Grande São Paulo, mantêm tradição de pintar rua para a Copa do Mundo

The World Cup fever has already taken over the country. In Osasco, in Greater São Paulo, residents of various generations have been gathering for eleven World Cups to paint an entire street with Brazilian flags. The view from above is impressive. There are 275 meters of flags and more Brazilian flags. From the ground, closer up, the designs are varied. The neighborhood of Luiz Villar street has been uniting for 11 World Cups to mark the asphalt green and yellow. It takes a lot of effort and paint to paint 38 flags on the asphalt. Residents, relatives, and friends used 15 gallons of paint. The younger generation didn't see when the first design was painted, in 1982, or another in 1986, but Eliane is here to tell the story: "I remember it was still dirt."
