We were in the area and just had to see if it was as good as we remembered. By sheer coincidence, we find ourselves at the exact same spot as last time; tucked in amongst the flowering bottle brush and roaming cattle. After a nostalgic moment we set up camp and enjoy a snack of chicken salad on seaweed crisps. There's plenty to see here, so we take a scenic walk before getting the fire going to cook spaghetti meatballs on the campfire. We wake up to a romantic misty morning and enjoy a steaming cup of tea beside the fire, before making stuffed mushrooms for breakfast in the camp oven.
