Fitting the Supercharged LS Dry Sump Reservoir - Stepside C10 Burnout Truck Ep. 11
We're burning through this supercharged C10 build as fast as we're going to be burning rubber with this big blower LS! And this episode, we're getting that much closer to getting this engine fired up! We're kicking things off by installing our Radium surge tank into our custom mounted Radium fuel cell we threw in the bed of this truck. To do that, we have to fabricate a mounting bracket to fit up our fuel fill. Once our fuel system is one step closer to pumping all that methanol to the 16 injectors on the intake of our supercharged LS, we can rework our dry sump system just a little bit. We initially thought we had good placement for our oil tanks, but realized we needed to pivot back when we were making our custom set of headers. So we're cutting up our core support to get a nice cut out to sneak these two oil reservoirs in, that will be keeping our dry sump LS engine lubricated! We also need a new place now to fit our heat exchanger for the Magnuson blower. So the radiator is getting yanked off of our roll cage down tubes so we can attach the PWR heat exchanger to the back of it! And to finish off the episode we have a special guest in the shop to 3d scan our throttle bodies so that he can design us a sick top hat for our blower set up, as well as give us a sneak peek of the one-off 3 piece wheel design we have cooking up for this build!
