While looking through my stash of old cassette tapes, I found what could be the only surviving recording of CyberPinoy. This is the full one hour episode of the weekly radio show on AM radio. Before podcasts, social media, smartphones, and the app economy reshaped the digital landscape, Cyber Pinoy was already bringing technology discussions to Filipino audiences over traditional AM radio. Originally aired in the early 2000s on DZRM's Radyo Magazine and produced with the support of the Philippine Information Agency (PIA), Cyber Pinoy was hosted by journalists Jing Garcia and Mona Nieva. The weekly program explored the latest developments in information technology, featuring interviews with industry leaders, tech journalists, policymakers, and innovators who helped shape the Philippine ICT sector. In this rare surviving episode from around 2002, guests included Erwin Lemuel Oliva of Inq7.net and Melvin Calimag of Metropolitan Computer Times.
