【偏差値60を目指すには？】国語力を上げるための秘策

This time, she answered the following question. --------------- I admire Sato Mama. I have a question for you. My child is in the fourth grade of elementary school, living in the Kanto region and attending a major cram school. They have placement tests every five weeks, and they're doing well in math, social studies, and science, always scoring above 65, or making only one or two mistakes. The problem is Japanese. They only ever manage to score around 52. They get all the knowledge questions right, but are struggling to get good marks on narrative and expository texts. I've occasionally tried a technique that Sato Mama previously mentioned: sitting next to my child when they're doing their homework, reading for them, and explaining things to them as they solve the word problems. I'm not good at reading, so I only read picture books. I'm overwhelmed with homework every week, and I think I'll have even less time to read in the future. It's been about a year since I enrolled in the school, and I've only managed to get a deviation score above 60 in Japanese once. I think that's because the content of both the narrative and explanatory texts happened to be easy for me to understand. How should I study to ensure that my Japanese score exceeds 60 every time? (I always do my Japanese homework properly, and since it takes time to review other subjects before tests, I don't review written questions.)
