Hello, this is Life in Shikoku. For the first time in about a year, we visited "Monet's Garden" in Kitagawa Village, Aki-gun, Kochi Prefecture. Wanted to see the "Blue" Water Lily that Monet dreamed of, so we chose July. Monet's Garden is divided into three gardens, and we went to the "Water Garden" first. But the staff said that there were no blue water lilies blooming in the pond here today... We enjoyed the beautiful scenery, but was a little disappointed. When hearing that they were blooming in the "Garden of Brdighera", we moved there. There they were, blue water lilies! Blue Water Lilies are tropical, so they did not bloom in Giverny where the temperature is cooler. Satisfied, moved to the last "Flower Garden". On the way to the Flower Garden, we saw beautiful blue water lilies in water pots on the observation deck! It was nice to see them up close. At the Flower Garden, we enjoyed summer flowers and beautiful scenery. We would be happy if you could enjoy this scenery with us.
