Unrelated to basically everything else, the single memory we have of troll dolls, aside from that... Really, really weird TV show that tried to poise them as being For Girls despite everyone we know who had one being a dude, and, y'know, the weird DreamWorks movies about them from more recent years... Is that, we have the faintest memory of being like, 5 or 6 years old, and having a troll doll, and just. Running it under the sink to get its hair wet. We don't think it was meant to do anything? We don't think it was a color-changing toy or anything like that. No, we think that was just entirely a sensory thing. And what's weirder is that we don't even remember actually owning a troll doll.
