The Gratitude Ceremony was held at the Testori Auditorium in Palazzo Lombardia, dedicated to those who, behind the scenes, were the true driving force behind the safety of the Milan Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. Our most sincere thanks go to all the workers, officials, and volunteers of the Civil Protection and Local Police Forces who, with extraordinary professionalism, expertise, and a tireless spirit of service, ensured the successful execution of a historic event for our country. The President of the Lombardy Region, Attilio Fontana, along with the Councilor for Security and Civil Protection, Romano La Russa, honored all the representatives of the forces present by signing a certificate of recognition. The Councilor for Housing and Social Housing, Paolo Franco, was also present at the ceremony.
