In 15 years, Cedar Lodge Farms at Morrisburg, Ont., has seen its farm shop evolve from a converted heifer barn with eight-foot ceilings to a modern roughly 50-by-90 shop that's become the heart of the operation, says Warren Schneckenburger who farms with his wife, Christine, along with his parents, Arden and Rhonda. It's not the biggest shop, but the addition of a 100-by-200 drive shed to store all Cedar Lodge's equipment on the farm, just a short walk from the shop, has changed the way the farm operates.
