Caltrans HQ-On the Job with Caltrans-Litter Removal
We're proud to share the latest installment of the "On the Job with Caltrans" series. In honor of Earth Day, this episode focuses on our statewide litter removal efforts, and the outstanding job done by our maintenance crews to help keep California's roadways clean. On April 25, 2013 our crews fanned out across the state to promote our litter removal efforts, and will haul away more than 2,500 cubic yards of trash, sweep nearly 100 tons of debris off state highways and remove more than 16,000 square feet of graffiti.
