EAARL Basics

Professor Christopher Parrish, of Oregon State University and the University of New Hampshire CCOM/JHC, explains the EAARL-B bathymetric lidar system and how it is used to collect bathymetric lidar data. CCOM worked with NOAA NGS/RSD to develop new bathymetric lidar education and training modules and exercises. This video was produced by the NOAA Aircraft Operations Center and NGS/RSD.
