Continuing with the series entitled “Prayer” by Pastor Andrés Corson https://goo.gl/wFyGvU, the next step is praise and worship: “Hallowed be thy name.” We need to know that just as there are paths of prayer, there are also paths of praise. One of these paths is the Tabernacle of Moses: 1. Outer Court (our body) 2. Holy Place (our soul) 3. Most Holy Place (our spirit) So, how can we reach the Most Holy Place? In the outer court: 1. The gate: cultivate an attitude of gratitude. 2. The altar of burnt offering: praise requires a sacrifice, but our bodies are not always willing to praise God, so we make the decision to do so. How can I praise God with my body in church and in my time alone? A. With our hands Clapping Raising them Playing instruments B. With our feet Jumping: because in this way our body is involved in praise Dancing Marching We jump, march, etc., because the enemy is under our feet. In this way, we show God that we are excited because He has come, and we also let our bodies know the freedom that Jesus has given us. C. Expressions Smiling: we reflect the happiness of encountering God. D. With our words (mouth) In the Holy Place, where my soul connects with God 1. The golden lampstand (our mind) 2. The table of bread (our will) 3. The altar of incense (our emotions) We must give our soul reasons to praise God, as Psalm 103:2 says. That's why declaring the promises or words God has given us will lead us to confront the lies our minds tell against Him and will force us to focus on praising Him. With my mouth I proclaim praise My ear hears it; it reaches my mind and heart. My spirit truly worships Finally, we can reach the Holy of Holies, that is, experience the very Presence of God.
