A long weekend has the advantage of allowing ample time to explore the surrounding area. The Lippe region around Lemgo has a lot to offer. We drove along the Bega River to Wendlinghausen Castle and the following day visited the LWL Brickworks Museum in Lage. Lemgo also proved to be an excellent place to do our shopping for our upcoming vacation. Unfortunately, after five days, Sunday arrived, and once again, it was time to leave. ...
