Unique Ritual: The 'Bama Kali Dance' (বামা কালী ভাসান): The immersion (Visarjan) procession is an internationally viral spectacle. Hundreds of ecstatic devotees carry the massive idol on a bamboo platform, making her "dance" rhythmically to the fierce beat of traditional drums (Dhak) and the light of fire torches (Mashal).
