Royal Albatross ~ LGK & LGL Both Come Home To Feed TF After Rangers Supp Feed! 😊 ♥ 8.7.24

After TF got his 2nd supplemental feeding, both LGK and LGL came home in the afternoon to offer him his second & third meals! 😊 LGK comes home first and he sits down next to TF for a while while our starving chick begs for his lunch 😊 LGK then gets up to feed him - it was a short feed but hopefully effective! LGK departs to the right walking off down the track. Then late in the afternoon, TF is preening himself at sunset in a beautiful light when he sees LGL walking up to his resting spot. TF is excited to see both parents today and happily whees for dinner. He does a lot of bill tapping to get the juices flowing from LGL to regurgitate his supper. It didn't look like she had much to give but she gave what she had to him. LGL weighs about 7kg as an adult female and TF is about 9kg so he is much bigger than her and even bigger than LGK. When LGL is finished, she also walks off to the right and TF then settles down in his comfy spot and enjoys the glorious sunset at Taiaroa Head! Thank you for watching!
