How To Remove Background Noise And Get Studio Quality Sound in Realtime with the DBX286s
In this video I will show you how to remove background noise and create studio quality sound in real-time with the dbx286s. My quest for the best audio recording setup has lead me to include the dbx286s microphone pre-amp and audio processor. At under $200 this thing provides 60db of gain (more than enough for my power hungry Shure SM7B microphone) and a host of processing controls that enable you to remove background noise (like computer fans and other humming/whirring environmental distractions) when I am not speaking. It also allows you to add compression, clarity, detail and de-essing to your signal as well. It might sound complicated but it's really not, and in this video I will take you through each process control and explain what it does. I am super excited with the results of this inexpensive component as I have finally removed the background noise that has plagued my non-treated room. You can hear this for yourself in this video that features unprocessed audio.
