Another Iroquois Round Dance
The Iroquois Round Dance is a special dance performed at the beginning of Longhouse, and at social gatherings. This one was performed by lead singer & drummer Jordan Smith from the Bear Clan, with Haudenosaunee dancers, along with anyone else that wanted to participate. This was at the 173rd Tuscarora Picnic, in Lewiston, NY on Saturday July 14th 2018 The round dance shown here is an Iroquois social dance, which can be done, both inside and outside the traditional longhouse. Also with guests that would like to join the circle.
