Jamestown Parks & Recreation Board Forum 2026

The Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce hosted this candidate forum for the contested Jamestown Park Board race at the North Dakota Farmers Union building in Jamestown. Candidates for the three open Park Board seats included Mike Landscoot, Kyle McLean, Mindi Schmitz and Mike Soulis. Mike Soulis was unable to attend. The forum gave voters a chance to hear directly from candidates on local parks, recreation priorities and their reasons for running. The Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce hosts candidate forums as a public service to help voters make informed decisions. The Chamber does not endorse candidates.
