Day 26 - Sedalia to New Franklin on the KATY Trail, MO

Another cold morning start with a frost warning. The KATY trail is beautiful and littered with debris. Today, I had to stop numerous times to carefully negotiate my way around downed branches. The only 2 cyclists I saw today were right where 2 trees came down covering the path. Without the help of Ruth and Pat, there was no way I could have got the trike and trailer over this huge obstacle. That was very good timing. I saw 2 trikers, Craig and BD, just before I arrived at my campsite, an RV park in New Franklin called Roundhouse. Another cyclist showed up to camp that has traveled on his bike with a calico cat, Marilyn, for over 10 years.
