The TIDBITS were SERENE WEE (13 yrs old), her sister MERLINA WEE (12) and their cousin BERNEDETTE DE SOUZA (12). When the three young girls won the RTS Talentime Competition of 1967/68, they created quite an excitement in Singapore. They drew crowds by the tens of thousands everywhere they made a live appearance. They won the Finals with "I Believe." The grand prize, a recording contract with RCA. The song was released on their first EP record, backed by The Trailers. "Tiga Serangkai," Malay for three-leaf clover.
