Marinha lança ao mar mais um navio patrulha, o NPa Mangaratiba
In the context of PRONAPA (Patrol Vessel Acquisition Program), the Brazilian Navy took another important step: the launching of the patrol vessel NPa Mangaratiba. In a ceremony held today, April 27, 2026, at the Rio de Janeiro Naval Arsenal, the ship was launched and, later this year, should be transferred to the operational sector of the Brazilian Navy, joining its other namesakes – NPa Macaé, NPa Macau, and NPa Maracanã. One last unit of the class is under construction, the NPa Miramar.
