Today, I'm sharing a video you've been asking for a lot: how to live on a single income with a family of five in 2025, debt-free, and even homeschool. Many people think it's IMPOSSIBLE... but I'll show you it's not. It's difficult, it requires sacrifices, but it's doable—even without a six-figure salary. In our case, my partner's salary is rather modest, probably below the Quebec average. And yet, we're doing it. Not because we have a magic formula, but because we've made choices. 👇 In this video, I'll share with you: ✔️ The expenses we cut 100% ✔️ The expenses we reduced to the bare minimum ✔️ The concessions we had to make ✔️ The financial (and emotional!) benefits ✔️ And why, despite everything, we wouldn't go back 🔥 SOME EXAMPLES OF CUT EXPENSES: Restaurants, prepared meals, coffee shops Flying out on vacation and overpriced hotels Expensive activities like downhill skiing Unnecessary monthly payments (memberships, snow removal services, etc.) Daycare (since I'm at home) Second car: We live with only one car, paid for in cash 🧾 EXPENSES REDUCED TO THE MAXIMUM: Gas, since I don't Travel more for work or daycare Buying new clothes: we favor secondhand items, garage sales, etc. Gifts: we give homemade gifts, like my favorite sourdough bread 🍞 Insurance and phone: we reduced our annual bill by several hundred dollars just by making a few calls Impulse purchases: we think LONG before buying anything! 💡 OUR LIFESTYLE CHOICES THAT MAKE ALL THE DIFFERENCE: Intergenerational home: we live with my parents, which cuts housing costs in half We avoid big cities (we don't live in Montreal!), so our cost of living is much lower We do everything ourselves: maintenance, cleaning, lawn care, snow removal, hairdressing... no unnecessary expenses We accept not "doing everything": skiing, luxury travel, fancy brunches... and that's OK! 👶 BEING THERE FOR MY CHILDREN: THE GREATEST LUXURY This is perhaps the most important part. Living on one salary, I can be home with my children full-time. And we even homeschool them. Yes, it's intense. Yes, it requires organization. But it's a simple, present, connected life. And that, for me, is priceless. I know many moms (or dads!) dream of being able to be home with their children, but don't believe it. We think it's reserved for those with high salaries, inheritances, or privilege. I'm here to tell you that it may be more possible than you think—as long as you reexamine your priorities, your budget, and make choices from the heart. 🙏 AN IMPORTANT WORD… I say this often, but this isn't a video to tell everyone to stop working. It's a video for those who would like to live on one salary, but don't know where to start. It's not easy, and it doesn't happen overnight. But it's a journey worth taking. And be warned: I know my comments about money may shock some. When I say that "most people don't lack money, they spend too much," I'm not judging.
