In this Podcast, I have talked with a real patient of Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). This patient shared his personal experiences and also discussed different lifestyle changes that brought drastic improvements in his disease and made his life comfortable. Patient talked from the beginning when his symptoms started, given details about his symptoms and how he was diagnosed for Ulcerative Colitis. Then he talked about the treatment and how these medications initially helped to improve his condition but later on he came across side effects of these medications. He said that previously he was on 11 medicines and now it is cut down to 2 medicines only. When asked how this drastic change happened, he mentioned that lifestyle changes made improvements in his condition. The lifestyle changes he mentioned included abstinence from processed, oily & junk foods. Then he mentioned certain foods, vitamins, cold showers, walks & herbs that brought great improvements.
