It’s personal preference, but new research suggests that using a BIO powder that doesn't contain the enzyme CELLULASE (an enzyme that eats away at fabrics like bamboo) is best for cleaning cloth nappies. There are plenty of cellulase-free biological detergents available in the UK; including but not limited to Persil Original, Ariel Original and Daz powders. Check the brand website for a full list of ingredients before using on your nappies, avoiding any powder with cellulase listed in the ingredients.
