Awesome Short Line Trainz 12 railfanning

Today we railfan in the back roads of North Carolina, where I have built my new fictional railroad. This railroad operates 2 trains per day, and serving local industries. Central Carolina Rail currently operates over 5 miles of track in rural North Carolina. The track was built in 1964 by the railway, became unused from 1997-2014, then the railroad has been brought back in October 2014. The track condition is not the best, and is infested with weeds, bushes, and other overgrowth, but it gets the job done. New saftran signals were added to the majority of the crossings when the railroad was rejuvenated, but not all have undergone modernization. Here is some brief Railfanning we have done. First we catch CCR train 528 pulling a strand of boxcars north, led by a pair of Ex-NS SD40-2's. Train 528 is pulled from Yale- Mitchell yard, where cars will be distributed to it's correct destination. Second, we catch train 301 operating with a pair of GP40's. 301 pulls out from Mitchell, heads about one mile south,gets onto the "Mitchell industrial spur" where a trio of industries served by CCR are located, heads about 3/4 of a mile to the chemical plant where it picks up 5 loaded hoppers. It then pulls out, continues back south, exits the industrial spur and then eventually ends up in YALE yard, its final destination. Thank y'all so much for watching, I appreciate it.
