Its lightweight build, spruce top, and Indian rosewood back and sides offer a tone that left Julian truly speechless. We continue with a 1999 José Luis Romanillos guitar named La Mar, number 774, a refined instrument with intimate character, decorated headstock elements, and the rosette that inspired many contemporary makers. The next presentation showcases an Angelo Vailati "Romanillos" model from 2024 with spruce and Brazilian rosewood that blends clarity, separation, and rich overtones. Also featured is a 2025 Ennio Giovanetti with elevated fingerboard, powerful response, and a sweet, expressive tone that invites dynamic playing. For crossover enthusiasts, the Martin Bretcher Flow Cut model with 64 cm scale offers exceptional comfort and impressive decorative work with spruce and tricoa woods. The surprises continue with an Ivan Bruna guitar from Italy, spruce and maple, resonant and full bodied with long sustain and great playability.
