exA-Arcadia ARC-1 cabinet overview! 2-player/4-player compatible "Big Red" general-purpose cabinet!

Checking out the first exA-Arcadia cabinets for the Western market, the ARC-1! We had Eric and Maddy out from Save Point, and they brought us one off the show floor at IAAPA. Also had Ray out from the Texas ShotTakers to check the cab out! The design is much like the nostalgic "Big Red" cabs from our childhood, and it captures that look well! The control panel is at a perfect height, great for both kids, and their parents, so they can play together easily. It is fitting that the cabinet matches the look of old NEO-GEO cabs, since they are following the same principle of having a base platform with 4 slots to change out games. Some of the nice features of the cabinet: VERY low latency monitor, JST connectors instead of Molex, easy rotation of the monitor, low latency exA JVSIO, and compatibility to change to 4p, as well as a slot to add a second JVSIO for that purpose. Everything in this cabinet is tailored to take advantage of everything the exA does well! Even the fact that the monitor is off-the-shelf isn't really an issue. It is the right product, and it works well, no complaints! I didn't really do a great game demo in this video, so I'll probably come back later once I pick up a few more exA titles and do a video on all of them together (no promises!). I know a lot of collectors/arcade enthusiasts don't like these, but these cabs aren't really made for that market. It's made for arcades. Right now, the landscape of arcades is constantly changing, both in the West and in Japan; nobody's really making stuff like this anymore. We're really proud to work with exA, it brings a lot of joy to us to see someone supporting arcades like this in this day and age. Look forward to seeing these in arcades near you soon!
