🎤 Tennessee Whiskey – Chris Stapleton Well… this was unexpected. Our School of Rock Adult Band season was all about songs from the 2010s through 2020s, which meant plenty of rock, pop, alternative, and songs that made me question my vocal range. Then we threw in a country song 🤠. Because apparently we like to keep everyone guessing. This performance of Tennessee Whiskey 🥃 comes from our end-of-season recital at the Garden Amp in Buena Park. Country isn’t something we do very often, but there’s a reason this song has become a modern classic. Smooth, soulful, and just challenging enough to make a singer wonder whose idea it was in the first place. The crowd was great, the band sounded amazing, and I managed to make it through without accidentally turning it into a rock song. Thanks for watching and following my singing journey.
