Kare Kano, a Romance anime directed by Hideaki Anno, premiered in 1998, and to this day is still, in my opinion, the best romance anime ever made. For it's expressive and stylish body comedy and over-the-top visuals, as well as it's realistic take on teen romance and self-consciousness. Let's discuss everything great about it!
