Sonic Game development update #1

Details on current progress: Sonic now smoothly transitions from walking to running. I decided I liked the car / tank movement for when he is running so I made the controls swap when he reaches a set speed. As shown I've also added rings and springs. I also have multiplayer 'functioning' but I am still figuring out how to make it smooth for all players on the server. I am using steams A.P.I for them to run the servers instead of relying on pier-to-pier connection since this would cause the game to be almost unbearable due to lag. The actual game idea details: This is a multiplayer asymmetrical horror fan-game where there will be 1 killer and 6 survivors in a big game of cat and mouse. It's the killers objective to eliminate everyone while it's the others job to evade and survive. This is based off online fan-made fictional stories of horror scenario's based on Sonic and the Sonic The Hedgehog Intellectual Property. This game takes the characters from the fan made horror and the original sonic games and puts them into a horror game of survival. There are game like this (Sonic outcome memories is the main inspiration) but the game I am making focuses on giving back the sonic mechanics from the games based on speed and platforming to escape. ((So in short, a game about made up horror villains try to kill the sonic cast in a big game of tag using the fast pace movement from modern sonic games.))
