Aside from the fact that the candidates are singles from Germany, they are fundamentally different: some are in their mid-twenties, some are seniors, some are computer scientists, and some are office workers. Nevertheless, the blind date pairings are by no means left to chance, but are carefully considered in advance based on personal preferences and no-gos.
