It's been a year since the extension of Line 3 to El Casar opened to the public, a milestone reached on April 21, 2005, connecting Villaverde Alto with El Casar in the municipality of Getafe. This extension has benefited millions of passengers from all the municipalities in the southern part of the Community of Madrid, with demand at El Casar station increasing annually thanks to the extended Line 3. There's also another anniversary to be had: the Legazpi - Villaverde Alto section, which opened on April 21, 2007, and has been in service for 19 years. To celebrate the first anniversary of the Line 3 extension to El Casar, I've prepared this special video.
