GBXVII (Day 2) - South & West Wales - 27th April 2025
I videoed Day 2 of this years GBXVII with Black 5 45212 when it visited South & West Wales. Visiting three branch lines: Pembroke Dock Fishguard & Milford Haven. These lines have become more & more difficult to film in recent years with vegetation blocking many of the better locations. It wasn’t easy, as I had to plan well in advance so I could at least video on all three branch lines. 45212 was assisted by WCR 57314 ‘Conwy Castle’ It was wonderful to see steam again in West Wales which is very rare these days. 45212 performed superbly.
