The Côte Fleurie derby certainly lived up to expectations. With the atmosphere of a relegation battle hanging over the Stade du Commandant Hébert, AS Trouville-Deauville-Villers and SU Dives-Cabourg traded blows. It was Cédric Hoarau's men who struck first, with the ever-present Alban Bekombo opening the scoring (40'). But after the break, Philippe Clément and Julien Le Pen's players turned the tables on their hosts. First, Sihkou Dibaga leveled the score (69'), before Ediliano Maria Fernandes gave SUDC the lead with a superb free kick (75'). For Florian Suzanne's teammates (13th), this win, however, proves insufficient to avoid relegation. They cannot finish higher than 12th place, the first relegation spot. To reach this position, they will need to defeat bottom-of-the-table Brétigny on the final matchday. Meanwhile, ASTDV (12th) will remain in National 3, provided they win their match against Saint-Ouen-l'Aumône (11th).
